Additional information

The incorporation of a company with monetary contributions is done using a cashier's check from any bank authorized by the "Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero de El Salvador" in favor of the company which it is supposed to incorporate. For information on the financial entities go to the "Información Financiera" section of the webpage (www.ssf.gob.sv). When a company is incorporated using assets or other goods in kind, these must be valuated by an external auditor who is not the company auditor. The auditor issues a valuation certificate and sends it to the "Consejo de Vigilancia de la Profesión de Contaduría Pública y Auditoría" within three working days of the valuation having been carried out. For a list of Individuals and Legal persons authorized to as public accountants and auditors go to (www.consejodevigilancia.gob.sv), in the section "Listado de Profesionales". The authorizing notary must note the information concerning the check, valuation or both in the corresponding articles of incorporation.
