The incorporation of a company with monetary contributions is done using a cashier's check from any bank authorized by the "Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero de El Salvador" in favor of the company which it is supposed to incorporate. When a company is incorporated using assets or other goods in kind, these must be valuated by an external auditor who is not the company auditor. The auditor issues a valuation certificate and sends it to the "Consejo de Vigilancia de la Profesión de Contaduría Pública y Auditoría" within three working days of the valuation having been carried out. The authorizing notary must note the information concerning the check, valuation or both in the corresponding articles of incorporation.
